We were in Austin recently for The Creme, an enchanting evening full of some of our favorite designers, vendors, sensational 'veev' cocktails, delicious sweet treats... can we say southern charm and impeccable style to send us out swooning. We witnessed a fashion show by the beautiful BHLDN. And, can these lovelies party! We ended the night with a dance off and the room was full of vibrant energy.

Fashion Impressions

I've been immersed in spring runway shows all weekend and impressed by the broad spectrum of patterns, textures, from lace to mesh to fine silk, soft pastels and bold prints. From accordion pleats to delicate plissé, rounded shoulders, one shoulder, black and white, track trousers... There's something for everyone!

Fashion is your way to say to the world, here I am. So, don't withhold from the opportunity to beautify your being. Let the trends inspire a fresh new look and express with grace to all the wonderful authentic you!

Grey Matters

So I have been thinking of Re-doing My bedroom... And just the mention of it I kind of go blank. I have a tremendous amount of inspiration when it comes to everything else. Why is it so hard to do the good things for ourselves? So as I have pondered this I have narrowed down the things I am loving right now and not to jump on the trend band wagon but I love grey...and my favorite color to put with grey is gold.

There is a fabulous little shop in McKinney Tx http://www.grayliving.com/. Everything is grey and you would think it may fall flat but just the opposite it is beautifully curated bright and inspiring and I want the whole store!

So I will keep you posted on my progress but grey and gold here I come. I am thinking of doing herringbone pattern... Too Much??

Event B ... A New Year of Parties

I am so excited to see what this new year holds... And one thing I know for sure is that we will all look back and think " I'm so glad it happened like that...." or so I hope... I have had it on my heart and mind to host/throw a wedding planning bash for over a year and the more I plan chat and unfold it the more it becomes bigger than I imagined... The goal was Nov then Jan and I can not tell you how hard it is for me to push pause again but at the same time you will be glad we did we love a party done right and when we are finished curating and Curtailing  this will be an event to show up at and.... So Beloved Event B we will see you in March 2012. Until then 

Wearing White

Wearing white in the wedding party can be such a beautiful honor to the Bride and to the event... It certainly is not so new but with the trend being color on all the attendants, it is an old thought for a new day. I LOVE color so don't hear me say wash-out the wedding. As summer is coming to a close and the few bright sunny days are left to linger I love the evening's golden glow and shades of white.
